Stolen vehicle pursuit ends in crash in Montgomery County, police say

ASPEN HILL, Md. - Authorities are searching for at least two people after they say a stolen vehicle pursuit ended in a crash early Monday morning along the Capital Beltway in Montgomery County.
Officers say the incident started in the Aspen Hill area as a stolen vehicle investigation. The pursuit ended near Interstate 495 and Route 355 when one of the vehicles crashed around 5 a.m.

The second vehicle drove off and the driver of the crashed vehicle fled on foot into a wooded area and is currently unaccounted for, police say.
No injuries were reported. The investigation is continuing at this time.
