Shootout on busy Florida street captured on dashcam
PENSACOLA, Fla. (FOX 13) - Drivers sitting at a busy Pensacola street were probably not expecting to witness a shootout while waiting at a red traffic light, but it was all captured on shocking dashcam footage.
Investigators in Florida are investigating a shooting captured through a driver's dashcam showing two men firing their guns at each other surrounded by other commuters at the intersection of West Street and Fairfield Drive.
According to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, they recovered the gold Toyota seen in the video and arrested a suspect identified as Jeremy Olds.
They are asking for the public's help in find the suspect in the silver Lexus, identified as Jonathan James Harris. The Florida tag number for the vehicle is HVRG69.
In the video, the Lexus is spotted pulling up between lines, with the driver's hand sticking out of the car window aiming toward the Toyota. A passenger inside the Toyota jumps out and uses a red truck sitting between both suspect vehicles as a barrier. The Toyota speeds off, as the Lexus passenger moves away from the truck's protection and shoots toward the fleeing vehicle.
The passenger heads back inside the vehicle and the Toyota flees the intersection through the red light.
