Residents shelter in place after early morning 2-alarm apartment fire in DC

WASHINGTON - Residents of a northwest D.C. apartment building are sheltering in place after an early morning two-alarm fire Monday.

The fire was reported around 6 a.m. on the eleventh floor of the apartment building on 3101 New Mexico Avenue.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
