Police: Tourist shot for playing loud music

Police say a convicted felon was so mad about loud music, he shot a man and is now back behind bars. According to witnesses, Antoine Young, 38, got angry with a guy playing his music loudly and shot him in the leg with a shotgun. Daytona Beach Police said it happened inside a gas station parking lot around 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigators said a 27-year-old from out of town, possibly visiting on spring break, had music playing in his car. Witnesses said it was very loud, so Young confronted the man, and when he didn't turn it down, that's when they said Young pulled out a sawed off shot gun and shot the victim.

The victim was driven by his friends to a nearby fire station, and he was transported to the hospital. He is expected to be okay. Police tracked down Young a short time later. They said he was in possession of a black backpack with a shotgun and ammunition. He who denied shooting the victim.

According to records, Young has a long criminal history. He facing several charges, including possession of a gun by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
