Police search for suspect they say robbed three transgender women at gunpoint in Northeast, DC
WASHINGTON - Authorities are searching for a man they say robbed three transgender women at gunpoint last week in Northeast, D.C.
Police say the first incident was reported around 3:50 a.m. on Monday, July 22 in the 900 block of 2nd Street. The second incident was reported on Wednesday, July 24a round 2:14 a.m. in the 600 block of K Street. The third incident was reported on Wednesday, July 24 around 2:55 a.m. in the 5500 block of Hunt Place.
Police say the suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 30 years old. He’s believed to be between 5-feet-7-inches and 5-feet-11-inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing brown or tan overalls and a black skull cap. He was seen fleeing in a dark in color Jeep SUV.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 202-727-9099. A $10,000 reward in the case is being offered.
