Police: Officer shoots self at Stafford County Courthouse, appears accidental
STAFFORD, Va. - A jail officer has been taken to the hospital, officials say after he accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Stafford County Sheriff's Office confirms it happened at the courthouse around 3 p.m.
His condition is unknown.
