Police: Multiple injuries reported in Frederick County crash

WALKERSVILLE, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Multiple people were injured during a crash on Crum Road in Frederick County on Friday evening.

The incident in Walkersville was reported around 6 p.m.

Maryland State Police say two vehicles crashed around 5:59 p.m.

Police say the passengers and drivers who were involved in the initial crash were in the roadway when a third vehicle struck at least three of them.

The driver of the third vehicle has been identified as a 71-year-old woman from Walkersville.

Six people in all were injured - with four suffering serious injuries, and two suffering injuries that police do not believe are life-threatening.
