Police investigating World Series ticket scams in Fairfax County

Detectives with the Fairfax County Police are reminding Washington Nationals' fans to use caution when purchasing World Series tickets from sources other than the MLB and authorized dealers!

Police say they are seeing an increasing number of online and phone scams involving World Series tickets as the Nationals continue their first championship run against the Houston Astros. 

Investigators are telling fans to be sure they research the vendors and review their security protocols before they provide personal information or make a payment.
