Police investigate DC's 158th homicide of the year

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Police in D.C. are investigating the city's 158th homicide of the year. Officers say a man was shot to death in the 1700 block of West Virginia Avenue in the Northeast just before midnight.

The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Donald Lewis. Investigators are looking for two suspects connected with the shooting.

There have been nearly 50 more homicides this year in D.C. than in all of last year.
