WASHINGTON - Police are searching for a suspect in the homicide investigation of an infant girl who was found unconscious and unresponsive inside of a home in D.C. earlier this year.
Officers have identified 25-year-old Cornell Delvonte Holton as a suspect in the case. Investigators say Holton is currently wanted on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant for First Degree Murder- Felony Murder in the death of 3-month-old Skylar Newman.

Infant found unconscious is in 'grave condition,' DC police say
Newman was found in grave condition inside of a home in the 4300 block of G Street in Southeast, D.C. on March 16. She was transported to a local hospital but died on March 19. Officials say her death was determined to be caused by blunt force injuries and was ruled a homicide.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
