Ohio man accused of hiding above college women’s soccer locker room to take photos

Jayson Barker, of Jeffersonville, faces 11 counts of voyeurism after he was discovered inside the ceiling area of the women’s locker room at Wilmington College, WLWT-TV reported.

Wilmington police officers responded to the Scheve Athletic Center shortly before 9:40 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports that someone was taking photos of team members in the locker room.
When officers arrived, Barker was being detained by Wilmington College Campus Safety personnel.
Investigators determined that Barker, who worked at the school as a contract custodial employee, had hidden in the ceiling above the locker room before a team member discovered him.

"The college's paramount concern is the safety and well-being of its students," the institution said in a statement to the news outlet. "We have been providing counseling and other support services for the affected students since Tuesday night and are taking measures to ensure that no student's safety or well-being is compromised. Also, the college continues to assist with law enforcement's investigation."
What's next:
Barker is charged with 11 counts of voyeurism and is being held at the Clinton County Jail on a $22,000 cash surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 5.
