Officers post "first day" pictures in solidarity with slain rookie officer Ashley Guindon

WASHINGTON - Police officers across the country, and world, are sharing photos of their first day on the job in solidarity with slain Prince William County Police Officer Ashley Guindon.

The photos show men and women of all ages posing in their uniforms on their first day of duty and are almost all captioned "In honor of Officer Ashley Guindon" followed by details of the officers' first days on the job.

Many of the photos are of domestic police, but a few show officers in other countries.
