A music teacher in Fairfax County is accused of sexually assaulting a 10 and 11-year-old girl. FOX 5's Bob Barnard has the story.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - A music teacher in Fairfax County is accused of sexually assaulting a 10 and 11-year-old girl.
The teacher has been identified as 47-year-old John Barger, of Springfield. Barger is accused of sexually assaulting two students on separate occasions.

According to the criminal complaint, two girls were in class watching a film about string instruments when they say Barger walked behind them and "grabbed their boobs."
Police say they were made aware of this incident, which occurred in December 2024, a few weeks ago, after the two alleged victims told other students and a different teacher during a "Lunch Bunch" program gathering about what happened.
He has been arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery. He is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
Barger was placed on administrative leave upon the allegations and remains suspended. He has been employed by Fairfax County Public Schools as a teacher since 2017.
