OAKTON, Va. - A multiple vehicle crash has left one person dead and caused major delays on a Virginia interstate Thursday morning.
The crash was reported around 4 a.m. on westbound Interstate 66. All lanes were closed for several hours. Some traffic was able to get by just before 7 a.m.
One person was killed in the crash. Traffic was being detoured onto Route 123.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
