Moped rider in critical condition after Chain Bridge Road collision

FAIRFAX CITY- Va - Chain Bridge Road in Fairfax has re-opened after a crash involving a moped on Sunday.

The rider was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Police described his injuries as life threatening.

The SUV driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the police as they investigated.

No charges have been filed at this point.

Police shut down Chain Bridge Road northbound, and Eaton Place after the crash.
