Missing 11-year-old Silver Spring girl found safe, police say

UPDATE: Police say Maeva Domche-Nono has been found safe and unharmed.

Montgomery County police are asking for help in their search for a missing 11-year-old girl from Silver Spring.

Maeva Domche-Nono was last seen leaving her home in the 9700 block of Mt. Pisgah Road at around 5 a.m. Thursday.

Police say her family is concerned for her welfare and she has not been seen or heard from since she left home Thursday morning.

Domche-Nono is described as a black female standing 5-foot-tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair, which she frequently wears in shoulder-length braids. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and gray leggings/pants.
