Metro expected to cut 200 more jobs this year

WASHINGTON - D.C.'s transit agency says it will cut 200 more jobs this year.

Metro says the positions, including those of managers, will be eliminated next month.

Another 300 jobs tied to the bus and railway system is up also for consideration by the board.

The latest cuts come after Metro eliminated of 500 jobs last year.
