Man shot in leg near Metro Center; police search for vehicle that may be connected

WASHINGTON - Police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg early Thursday morning in northwest D.C.

The shooting was reported just before 2 a.m. the 600 block of 12th Street near Metro Center.

The victim was hospitalized. Police are looking for an older model green Honda that may be connected to the shooting.

Several lanes of 12th Street were closed while police investigate.
