Man shot in church bathroom, suspect in custody, police say

LANHAM, Md. - Police say a one man was injured and a person is in custody after opening fire in a church bathroom in Prince George's County.

Investigators say the shooting happened at the 9400 block of Annapolis Road in Lanham, at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

The shooting reportedly happened during Quinceanera festivities.

Officials say the man is in stable condition after being shot in the upper body and leg. They say a suspect is now in custody following the incident.
