Man grabbed buttocks of female jogger, attacked another on trail in DC’s Rock Creek Park, authorities say

Authorities are asking for help identifying a man they say sexually assaulted one woman and attacked another along a busy trail in a popular D.C. park.

U.S. Park Police have released images of a man they say grabbed the buttocks of a women and assaulted another while they were jogging on a trail in Rock Creek Park in Northwest, D.C.

The first incident involving the sex assault happened on August 4 just before 3 p.m. The second incident happened on September 9 around 7:40 a.m. Police say both incidents happened in the park south of the Piney Branch Parkway.

Officials say the suspect may have a campsite in the area of the Valley and Meadowlink Trails in Rock Creek Park and ask anyone with information to contact them at 202-610-7505 or 202-610-8730.
