Man dead after being struck by vehicle in hit-and-run near Catholic University, police say

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in Northeast Washington Tuesday night, DC Police say.

The incident happened on Rhode Island Avenue, NE, and Franklin Street, NE, at around 9:01 p.m.

Police say the man was taken to the hospital in a semi-conscious condition.

Authorities say they are looking for a gray van.
