Firefighter hurt after blaze at DC home under construction

WASHINGTON - A firefighter was hurt while battling a blaze at a home under construction in southeast D.C. on Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported in the 4400 block of 3rd Street. DC Fire and EMS officials say the building was under construction and no occupants were inside.

The injured firefighter was treated at the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
