CROWNSVILLE, Md. - An FBI special agent has allegedly killed his estranged wife before taking his own life in Anne Arundel County on Wednesday, according to officials.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it responded to a domestic assault in the 500 block of Arundel Boulevard in Crownsville at about 8 a.m.
Authorities said the 911 caller stated a woman asked that they alert police because her estranged husband, identified later by officials as 52-year-old David Raynor, had threatened her.
When officers arrived at the scene they said the woman, identified as 54-year-old Donna Fisher, was found suffering from stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Raynor, of Annapolis, was found suffering from stab wounds and a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to officials. He was also pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said both Raynor and Fisher were found outside the home.
Authorities said Raynor was an employee with the Baltimore Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The FBI confirmed to FOX that Raynor was a special agent and had been with the FBI since June 1996. He had been at the Baltimore Field Office since February 2003.
Both bodies have been taken to the medical examiner's office where an autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
