Father, son found dead in Bealeton home identified by Fauquier County Sheriff's Office

BEALETON, Va. - Two men who were found dead at a home in Bealeton died as a result of gunshot wounds, the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office confirmed.

The men, identified as 61-year-old Duong Nguyen and 22-year-old America Nguyen, were father and son, according to officials.

The sheriff's office began investigating the incident when they were asked to check the home at 11027 Salisbury Ln. on Friday. When they arrived at the home around 9:30 a.m., they reportedly found both men dead.

Investigators said the last time anyone heard from the pair was on Wednesday when America Nguyen communicated with a family member via social media.

Detectives searched the area with K-9 units and canvassed the neighborhood for more information.

According to neighbors, a total of four adults lived at the home. A source tells FOX 5 that two of the people who reside in the house are currently out of the country in Vietnam.
