POTOMAC, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Parts of River Road (MD 190) in Montgomery County are shut down Friday morning as crews make emergency repairs.
Officials say the repairs are closing the roadway between Longacres Preserve Court and Esworthy Road.
Motorists will be detoured from River Road to Esworthy Road and then onto Seneca Road. Only local traffic will be allowed on River Road between Seneca Road and Longacres Preserve Court.
This closure and detour will be in place into next week.
