Driver, students injured when school bus flips on side in Ellicott City

Two students and an adult were injured when a school bus flipped on its side in Ellicott City Monday morning. The accident happened around 7 a.m. on westbound Route 100 when the bus lost control as it exited onto Route 29 north. A vehicle driving northbound on Route 29 then struck the bus.

The students, both 15-year-olds at Mt. Hebron High School, were transported to a local hospital as a precaution with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
