DMV weather: Quarter-sized hail as heavy rain, storms move through region

Saturday will see off and on scattered showers and high humidity.

BETHESDA - Hail hit parts of Carroll County and Frederick County Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. 

In Carroll County, the forecast for Saturday shows storms bringing potentially damaging 60mph winds and hail. 

Thunderstorm warnings continue for parts of eastern Maryland.
