District Winery: DC's 1st winery opens in Navy Yard

WASHINGTON - Washington D.C.'s first winery has been uncorked as District Winery celebrated its grand opening in Navy Yard on Wednesday.

District Winery, located at 385 Water St. SE, features wine tastings, wine tours and a restaurant. The winery can also host special events such as weddings or corporate outings.

District Winery Winemaker Conor McCormack explained to FOX 5's Mike Thomas that the only part of the winemaking process that isn't done at the winery is the growing the grapes.
