Deadly accident caused delays during morning commute in Temple Hills

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. - Police are investigating a deadly accident on Interstate 495 in Temple Hills.

The accident happened just before 2 a.m. on the outerloop of the Beltway at Temple Hills Road.

Two vehicles, including a tractor trailer, were involved.

Now clear, the outerloop had been shut down at Exit 4 for several hours while emergency crews investigated.. Motorists are being made to exit at St. Barnabas Road.

The cause of accident remains under investigation.
