D.C. police release photos of Northeast killer's getaway car

WASHINGTON - D.C. police say the killer of a man last week in Northeast D.C. fled the scene in the car shown above.
The shooting happened around 7:56 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, in the 5200 block of Sheriff Road, Northeast.
The victim, 24-year-old Kevin Better of Southeast D.C., died two days later at a local hospital.
Police say the suspect's vehicle is possibly a Dodge Charger or Challenger with a light-colored "M" logo on the hood, light-colored stripes on both sides and insignias on the rear windshield.
Police are offering up to $25,000 to anyone with information on the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.
