Charlottesville City Schools closed Thursday following internet threat

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - All Charlottesville City Schools were closed Thursday following an internet threat against Charlottesville High School, authorities say.

The Charlottesville Police Department said they had not yet determined the credibility of the threat.

"The safety of our staff and students is our first priority," read a statement posted on the Charlottesville City Schools website.
