Carowinds recruiting ghouls and goblins for Halloween extravaganza

CHARLOTTE, NC (WJZY) - Bored at your current job? Looking for a frightening good time? You can be a part of one of the most terrifying Halloween events in the Carolinas -- SCarowinds.

Carowinds announced this week they are currently holding auditions for their 'Army of Darkness' massacre.

Auditions are currently being held Sundays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. now through October 2. Organizers said they're looking for "monsters" 16 years of age and up.

You can audition at the Carowinds Employment Office at 14523 Carowinds Blvd. in Charlotte. Interested candidates need to apply at carowinds.com prior to attending auditions.

SCarowinds begins Friday, September 16 and runs Sunday, through October 30 on select nights.
