Bullis School head football coach charged with assault

The head football coach at an elite Maryland private school is facing an assault charge tied to an argument with his wife.

On Monday, Bullis School's Pat Cilento was arrested for allegedly shoving his wife during an argument, according to his lawyer Rene Sandler. He was later released on that same day.

Sandler told FOX 5 Cilento was not arrested initially, but his wife later pressed charges and he was taken into custody. She says Cilento denies the allegations.

In 2010, the Bullis School named Cilento head football coach.

The school released a statement saying Cilento is on leave.

Cilento is known for having coached star quarterback and Washington Redskins' top draft pick, Dwayne Haskins.
