A body was found Sunday afternoon in a wooded area off Dowdy Ferry Road in unincorporated Dallas County.

The remains have not been identified, but Dallas police say they were discovered in the same general area where searches were conducted for Marisol Espinosa, whose family showed up to the scene.

Espinosa, a mother of three, went missing in late December. Her vehicle has since been found, but no trace of the hairstylist.

The body recovered Sunday was found under a bridge. Police say it was partially clothed and they were unable to determine if it was Espinosa.

A man looking for stray dogs found the body and called 911.

Because of where it was found, fire fighters used an engine ladder to hoist it up. The incident is considered an unexplained death until the medical examiner determines the person's identity.
