5 vehicle crash closes portion of Capital Beltway in Montgomery County

A major crash involving five vehicles snarled traffic Wednesday morning along the Capital Beltway in Montgomery County.

SILVER SPRING, Md. - A major crash involving five vehicles snarled traffic Wednesday morning along the Capital Beltway in Montgomery County.

The crash was reported on the Outer Loop of Interstate 495 at around 5:30 a.m. the Outer Loop was shut down between Colesville Road and Georgia Avenue.
