40 school-aged passengers onboard bus involved in crash in Montgomery County

POTOMAC, Md. - A bus being used for summer camp that was carrying at least 40 school-aged passengers was involved in a crash with a truck Tuesday in Montgomery County.

The crash happened near River Road and Persimmon Tree Road in the Potomac area. Officials say the bus driver and a dozen juvenile passengers were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
