1 resident hospitalized; several displaced after Germantown fire

GERMANTOWN, Md. - Several residents have been displaced after an early morning fire in Germantown.

The fire occurred around 6:20 a.m. at 9936 Brookridge Court.

One occupant of the home was able to escape. Firefighters also evacuated neighbors from their homes.

One person was transported with unknown injuries.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
