WASHINGTON - Several overnight shootings in D.C. have left one person dead and at least three other people injured.
The deadly shooting was reported just after 7 p.m. Wednesday on the 5200 block of Just Street in the Northeast. FOX 5 was on the scene where a woman was pronounced dead on the scene. Police do not have a motive in this shooting and have no suspect information at this time. 27 gunshots were apparently fired at this crime scene.
Around 9:19 p.m., a second shooting was reported on the 4500 block 6th Place in the Northeast. No suspects have been identified.
Right around 10 p.m., a third shooting was reported in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, also in the Southeast. Officers says the victim was involved in an argument and altercation with a suspect when the shooting occurred. Police say they arrested a 17 year-old juvenile male from Southeast, D.C., a short time after the shooting. Investigators say he faces a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A fourth shooting was then reported around 11 p.m. in the 3800 block of 8th Street in the Southeast.
