Gray skies, drizzle and cool temperatures Tuesday
WASHINGTON - The feel of October returns Tuesday after a summerlike 84 degrees on Monday.
Overnight, a front moved through with scattered showers and drizzle which will likely linger off and on through the day along with cooler temperatures in the mid-to-upper 60s. As the front stalls just east of our area, that moist breeze out of the northeast means clouds will be tough to break and the day will feel damp.
Despite the clouds and showers, the mood in D.C. is sunny as the wild-card Washington Nationals forced a deciding Game 5 in their NL Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers! Let’s go Nats!
Expect another cloudy and wet day on Wednesday. Drier conditions into the end of the week with fall temperatures through the weekend.
