Cloudy, warm with spotty showers possible Monday; mid-week temps back in the 90s

After a mostly sun-filled weekend with comfortable temperatures the work week starts off with more clouds than sun.

FOX 5's Gwen Tolbart says to be sure to grab the umbrella Monday as you head out the door as there could be a few early morning spotty showers. Showers are expected again later in the afternoon and early evening -- but not everyone will get them. The best chances for the most rain, and even an isolated thunderstorm, will come to central Virginia and to parts of lower southern Maryland and south.

Temperatures will be in the low 80's but get ready for some changes! Just as we prepare for the coolness of September days humidity starts creeping back in and, in the days ahead, temperatures will be on the rise – and it will be back to the air condition!
