DC WEATHER AUTHORITY: Foggy start in the DMV before warmer temperatures return
Dense fog and drizzle are creating a gloomy start across the D.C., Maryland and Virginia region, with reduced visibility in some areas through mid-morning. Temperatures are hovering in the 30s and 40s, with fog advisories in effect until 10 a.m. for parts of the region. Forecasters say clouds could gradually break later in the day as a warm front moves in. Highs are expected to climb back into the 60s, though additional rain showers are possible as the new workweek begins.
