Heat wave continues Friday as heat index nears 100 degrees
Another hot and humid day as an early summer heat wave brings temperatures in the mid-90s to the D.C. region. FOX 5's Tucker Barnes says that highs are likely to reach 95 degrees later this afternoon but the heat index ? a gauge of how hot it feels outside based on the temperature and humidity ? will make it feel like it is closer to 100 degrees.
