Police investigate shooting near Interstate 295 in DC

One person was wounded in a shooting near Interstate 295�in Northeast D.C. Police say the shooting happened on Eastern Avenue at the northbound ramp to the highway�just after 7 a.m. Emergency crews are transporting�the male victim to a nearby hospital.
