Nursing changes possible in DC public, charter schools
There could be possible changes coming in D.C. public and charter schools for nurses. Under a current D.C. law, school nurses are required to work only 20 hours a week. In some cases the nurses put in those hours at two or three different schools. The nurse's contract is set to expire in January, at which that time the D.C. Department of Health is expected to implement a new health program.
