Judge to decide next steps for Purcellville vice mayor

A status hearing began today as a judge will decide next steps in the effort to recall Purcellville's vice mayor. Vice Mayor Ben Nett and Town Manager Kwasi Fraiser were arrested over the summer for their alleged involvement to do away with the town's police department amid a $3 million budget shortfall. Nett is scheduled to be in court again on his criminal charges in January.
