Recommended age for breast cancer exams is now age 40

New guidelines were released today for women. The United States Preventive Services Task Force says we should now be screened bi-annually starting at 40 for breast cancer. That's a 10-year age decrease from the previous guideline released in 2016. But why is the age for mammograms decreasing? Dr. Rachel Bram from George Washington University Hospital's Breast Imaging and Interventional Center joins FOX 5 to talk about the significant change that could save more lives.
