Officer struck by vehicle in Landover, police say

LANDOVER, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A Prince George's County police officer was struck by a vehicle in Landover on Monday evening, authorities say.

The incident happened on Martin Luther King Highway and Belle Haven Dr. at around 4:37 p.m.

Authorities say the officer was transported to the hospital after he was struck and he is expected to be okay.
