Metro commuters gear up for first rush hour day with summer station closures in place

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - In just hours, Metro commuters will get their first taste of the new normal on the Blue and Yellow lines when six Virginia stations shut down through the summer.

The platform and station work started on Saturday, but on Tuesday, riders will experience the first rush hour with the closures in place.
