Legal battles continue over Trump’s mail-ballot order
Election lawyer Josh Findlay calls new Postal Service requirements a positive step for election integrity, saying standardized envelopes, tracking and voter-eligibility lists could strengthen confidence in mail voting. A federal judge lifted the remaining block after the Supreme Court ruled that an earlier challenge was premature, but she warned the order could create “chaos” and may be unconstitutional. Democratic-led states have filed a new lawsuit as the first midterm ballots are set to be mailed.
