Spanberger to FOX 5: "We cannot see a shutdown" as Virginia budget deadline nears

With Virginia facing a June 30 budget deadline, Gov. Abigail Spanberger told FOX 5's Jim Lokay that lawmakers must put aside differences and send a spending plan to her desk, insisting a shutdown is "not a possibility." In a one-on-one interview on The Final 5, Spanberger defended a House-backed proposal to study data center impacts before changing tax incentives, pushed back on calls for an immediate repeal of those incentives, and suggested it would be "inconceivable" for "one person over one issue" to block funding for state government.
